Surrey Law Society Awards 2025: Celebrating Our Incredible Nominees

Last Thursday evening, the legal community gathered at G Live in Guildford for the prestigious Surrey Law Society Legal Awards 2025, honouring excellence across Surrey’s legal profession. Among the many talented nominees, we were thrilled to see three of our own colleagues recognised for their outstanding contributions:

• Hannah Bourke was nominated for Lawyer of the Year, a category that celebrates exceptional legal expertise and client service.
• Bethany Fowler earned a nomination for Junior Lawyer of the Year, highlighting her dedication, promise, and impact early in her career.
• Ashley Burrow was shortlisted for Leader of the Year, a testament to her inspiring leadership and commitment to her team and clients.

While they didn’t take home the trophies this time, we couldn’t be prouder. Their nominations alone speak volumes about their talent, hard work, and the respect they’ve earned across the profession. To us, Hannah, Beth, and Ashley are winners—and we celebrate them wholeheartedly.

The evening was a vibrant celebration of legal excellence, featuring a black-tie dinner, entertainment, and a keynote speech by barrister and TV personality Shaun Wallace. With 14 award categories and a record number of entries, the event showcased the depth of talent across Surrey’s legal landscape.
